Rules that work at 3 a.m. And a steering wheel for the rest.
Stop-losses, scaling and midnight resets run on our servers every 15 minutes, chat open or not. The winners of stopped ad sets are rescued overnight. And when you want to steer yourself, one sentence pauses, enables or rebudgets dozens of ad sets.
Stop-loss and scaling that never log off.
Write a rule in plain words or start from a template: stop-loss, CPA stop, fast scale, midnight reset, ROAS stop. It runs every 15 minutes per account, writes, and reads every write back.
- Observe mode first: the rule reports what it would do until you switch it to execute
- A 7-day backtest in the preview, with what it does not model spelled out
- Spend, results, CPA, ROAS, CTR, CPM and more over today, yesterday, 3 or 7 days and lifetime
- Pause, notify, change or set budgets with a cap. Rules never switch anything on
- “Add a stop-loss: pause ad sets that spend $30 with no purchases”
- “What did the rules do today?”
when spend_today ≥ 2 × target_cpa and purchases_today = 0 then pause ad set reset at 00:00 account time
- 02:14observewould pause US · broad 03 · spend $84, 0 purchases
- 02:14backtestlast 7 days: would have paused 11 ad sets
- 03:40executedpaused CA · int 01 · spend $61, 0 purchases
- 09:05scaledUK · lal 02 budget $120 → $144 · ROAS 2.4
A stop-loss paused the ad set. Its winners keep running.
At 22:00 account time adherd finds the ad sets your stop-loss paused that day, sorts their ads into winners, under-tested and weak, and copies the first two into a fresh ad set that starts at midnight.
- Winner: at least one purchase within your CPA threshold. Under-tested: no purchases yet, low spend
- Confirm each rescue in chat, or let an owner or admin switch on auto mode
- Auto mode does at most 5 rescues a day by default and sends one summary
- The stopped ad set is never touched, and a rescue copy is never rescued again
- “Show rescue candidates”
- “I paused US · broad 03 this afternoon, rescue its winners”
Pause, resume and rebudget by describing it.
Select ad sets and ads by name, ID or performance, like “spent over $30 today with no purchases”. You see every object’s was → will be, why it matched and today’s numbers before anything moves.
- Pause and enable ad sets and ads, change ad set daily budgets
- Set a budget, or change it by +20%, −10% or +$5, with an optional cap and floor
- Up to 200 objects per plan. Pauses go first, anything that switches on goes last
- Rules leave what you changed by hand alone until the end of the account day
- “Pause all ad sets in Spring Sale that spent over $30 today with no purchases”
- “Raise budgets of ad sets matching *_broad by 20%, but not above $250”
How it fits into your day.
- 01
Every 15 minutes
The server snapshots Meta and evaluates every rule on every account, chat closed or not.
- 02
A stop fires
An ad set spends without a purchase. It is paused at the next run and read back.
- 03
22:00 rescue
The good ads of today’s stopped ad sets are lined up in a fresh ad set for midnight.
- 04
00:00 reset
Budgets scaled during the day go back by yesterday’s numbers, in the account time zone.
- 05
08:00 report
The digest says what the rules did overnight.
Open
What adherd will not let happen.
One change per object per run
An ad set gets at most one change every 15 minutes, never a cascade.
Your hands win
Anything you changed by hand is left alone by rules until the end of the account day.
Live re-read, capped scaling
If a budget differs from what was expected, nothing is written. Every raise needs a cap.
One sentence stops it all
Freezing an account stops rule writes and auto-rescue at once. Only owners and admins unfreeze.
What Control does not do yet.
When a request falls outside, adherd says so in the plan instead of guessing.
- Rules do not switch ads or ad sets on
- Lifetime budgets cannot be changed
- Campaign budgets (CBO) for rescue and manual budget changes
- Deleting objects, editing bids, copy or links, pausing whole campaigns by hand
